Se ha ganado una extraordinaria
batalla... pero la lucha continúa...
¡Viva
el gran triunfo de los trabajadores y
el pueblo de Egipto!
La corriente
internacional Socialismo o Barbarie saluda el gran triunfo
de la clase trabajadora, la juventud y el pueblo de Egipto.
A pesar de los
descaradas presiones de EEUU, Israel y la Unión Europea,
que hasta hace pocas horas exigían una "transición a
la democracia"... presidida por Mubarak, finalmente el
dictador debió huir de El Cairo.
Las masas
egipcias y también de gran parte de los países árabes están
en estos momentos en las calles celebrando la inmensa
victoria. Su alegría es compartida por nosotros y también
por los pueblos de todo el mundo que siguieron conmovidos su
heroica lucha.
Al mismo
tiempo que nos unimos de todo corazón a este festejo,
debemos alertar que se ha ganado una extraordinaria
batalla... pero la lucha continúa... Las mismas fuerzas que
dentro y fuera de Egipto sostuvieron la dictadura de
Mubarak, ya están maniobrando para arrebatarles el triunfo
a los trabajadores, los jóvenes y los sectores populares.
Por eso, la
corriente internacional Socialismo o Barbarie, estima que la
única forma de no retroceder, es seguir avanzando.
Para eso, con la clase trabajadora al frente, que jugó un
papel decisivo en la caída de la dictadura, se hace
necesario impulsar
y desarrollar todos los elementos e iniciativas independientes
de todas las corrientes burguesas, sean
"laicas" o “islamistas”. La autoorganización
independiente de los trabajadores y la juventud es el
primer requisito para enfrentar y derrotar cualquier trampa
“democrática” o de nuevas represiones.
La
rebelión contra la dictadura ha triunfado. Para que este
triunfo se conserve y amplíe, se hace necesario
transformarla en una gran revolución, que lleve al
poder a la clase trabajadora, la juventud en lucha y los
sectores populares. Es decir, una revolución socialista.

Long
live to the great triumph of the workers and
the people of Egypt!
The
International Current Socialism or Barbarism salutes this
great triumph of the working class, the youth and people of
Egypt.
Despite
the blatant pressure from the U.S., Israel, and the European
Union, which until a few hours ago demanded a "democratic
transition" ... headed by Mubarak, finally the dictator
had to flee Cairo.
The
Egyptian masses and much of the Arab
countries are now in the streets celebrating this great
victory. His joy is shared by us and for the people around the
world who followed these events touched by the heroic struggle
While
we join with all our heart in this celebration, we must warn
that despite an extraordinary battle has been won... the
struggle continues. The same forces within and outside of
Egypt that have supported Mubarak’s dictatorship are already
manoeuvring to take the victory away from workers, the youth
and the people.
For
that reason, the International Current Socialism or Barbarism,
believes that the only way of not going back, is moving
forward. Led by the working class, which was instrumental in
the fall of the dictatorship, it is necessary to promote and
develop all the elements and initiatives independent of all
the bourgeois currents, being these "secular" or
"Islamists." The independent
self-organization of workers and youth is the first
requirement to resist and defeat any "democratic"
trap or new repression.
The
rebellion against the dictatorship has triumphed. For
this victory to be preserved and expanded, it is necessary to
transform it into a great revolution and bring the power to
the working class, the battling youth and the people. That is,
a socialist revolution.
